The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mandates industry-specific guidelines for the Environmental & Sustainability Impact Assessment. Consequently, our Industrial Enclaves cannot acquire a single certification to encompass all businesses located therein. Each enterprise must directly apply to the EPA to obtain the necessary permit or certification for its specific operations. Thus, each enterprise must operate in compliance with the requisite EPA guidelines within their industry.
The Industrial Enclave benefits from the close proximity to a substation within The Rubies Satellite City Development. A 33KVA capacity substation with 11KVA distribution power lines by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), ensuring a reliable and robust electrical supply close to the enclave. As a property owner, you’ll work together with the ECG to make sure this distribution is included in your business’s power needs.
The primary purpose of our underground drains is to facilitate efficient wastewater and stormwater discharge in order to prevent flooding within the Development. Specialized industrial waste and sewage disposal would need appropriate treatment in consultation with the EPA prior to connecting to the drainage network. It is incumbent upon businesses to manage their waste in accordance with their industry-specific EPA guidelines.
A dedicated water supply system is in place, with a direct 250mm high-density polyethylene (HDPE) connection to the main Ghana Water Company (GWC) substation. Our connection utilizes a 150mm (HDPE) PN mainline with a 60mm arterial connection to each plot guaranteeing a dependable water supply system.
The 10.5km Amanfrom-Katamanso-Zeenu dual carriageway provides arterial access to East Legon Hills, the Adenta-Oyibi Highway and access to Tema through the Katamanso-Ashiaman townships. These are prime locations in Accra-East.
Roads within the Industrial Enclave will be constructed with double surface dressing, supplemented by dedicated pedestrian walkways, enhancing accessibility and safety for vehicular and foot traffic.
The Rubies Satellite City places utmost importance on implementing robust security and safety protocols in the public areas within the development.
Ensuring the security of resident businesses and safeguarding their premises and property is the sole responsibility of the respective business owners.
The Industrial Enclave shall be under the diligent management of Regimanuel Gray Estate Management Company Ltd, adhering to our customary practice across all our communities.
This oversight is dedicated to the meticulous upkeep of all public spaces, fostering orderliness, maintaining proper sanitation standards in these areas, and mitigating any potential disturbances to property owners within the enclave.
