Realising the need for the timely delivery of high-quality raw materials to complete projects on time and maintain the Company’s reputable standards, Regimanuel Gray (RGL) established several subsidiaries including Bessblock, Regimanuel Concrete Products and Sierrablock Concrete Products, and Desjoyaux a swimming pool construction company.
To ensure the maintenance of its high standards after the completion of housing projects the Company established Regimanuel Gray Estate Management Company for the purpose of creating lasting value for the various communities under development and beyond the completion of the Development.
The combination of these subsidiaries has resulted in its evolution into a conglomerate with business interests in Construction (Civil & Building), Concrete Products, Estate Management & Swimming Pool Construction.
Bessblock Concrete Products Ltd (BCPL) was founded in Accra in 1999 as a state of the art concrete block manufacturing plant. The company is a joint venture between Regimanuel Gray Ltd and the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) of Ghana.
The plant is capable of producing up to 20,000 high quality concrete blocks per day.All products are manufactured to international standards following stringent quality control and testing procedures.
BCPL is one of the few plants in the region that can produce high strength concrete pavement blocks for use in highways and industrial paving applications. The principal market has been local building developers, highway contractors and the Ports of Tema and Takoradi.
Desjoyaux Ghana Limited was incorporated in 2005 as a fully owned subsidiary of Regimanuel Gray to act as the sole agent and distributor for Desjoyaux swimming pools and pool supplies for Ghana. To date, it has constructed over 120 pools in Ghana
Over the years RGL has diversified its operations through the establishment of various subsidiaries to complement its core business. In 2011 RGL acquired majority shares in CP Concrete Products and later renamed it Regimanuel Concrete Products.RCP has proven itself to be a reliable source of construction materials such as aggregates and precast concrete products.
Well trained and experienced sta combined with the state of the art equipment ensures the consistent delivery of products of guaranteed quality. As at today, RCP is one of the significant suppliers of such products to big Government and international road construction projects as well as private households and small and medium-sized companies.In line with the Company’s vision, Regimanuel Gray (SL) Ltd (RGSL) was founded in Sierra Leone in 2004 to replicate the successes of Regimanuel Gray in Ghana in the Sierra Leone market. RGSL is a joint venture between Regimanuel Gray Ghana and the National Social Security and Insurance Trust of Sierra Leone (NASSIT).
The Company is embarking on housing estates in Freetown which will provide over 1,000 medium to high income level houses in planned and gated communities.
RGSL has also installed a 200 tonne per hour aggregate crushing plant to supply granite aggregate for the company’s construction, for the Sierrablock block factory and for sale to the local market. In addition to the housing estates, RGSL pursues commercial development and construction, turnkey site development and road construction.
Sierrablock Concrete Products Ltd (SCPL) was formed in 2005 as a joint venture between Regimanuel Gray and NASSIT to copy the successful formula of Bessblock in Ghana to provide high quality concrete building materials for the Sierra Leone construction market. The fully automatic block plant was commissioned in 2006.
